Our client is seeking a Commerce Solution Architect for a REMOTE 12 month long contract. The Technical/Functional Architect will provide solution guidance (process, data, technology) on the team enhancing and supporting the Commerce platform (comprised of namely Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Dell Boomi, and future integration with AEM Assets, Ping Identity, CMS, MDM, and PIM). Additionally, this role will be responsible for collaborating with the team to define, design, configure and test solutions to meet business objectives and outcomes. The Technical/Functional Architect will guide and participate in all aspects of the Commerce platform, including system definition, design, development, and deployment, system support and administration, data integrity, as well as customization and implementation of applications and/or 3rd party solutions.
Responsibilities:
? Understanding the solution portfolio and how their respective system/platform is connected through the layers of architecture
? Providing guidance across all aspects of solution within the Sales, Marketing, and Service areas
? Developing project designs that align with Enterprise Architecture tools and methods
? Designing solutions and support of new and/or enhancements to existing applications
? Reviewing and signing off of functional and technical specifications
? Demonstrating solutions/POC’s to key stakeholders based on requirements
? Providing as needed support of configuration/code deployments throughout all release
? Handling quality check documentation related to configuration and deployment of solutions
? Evaluating, coordinating, and participating in selection process for packages, and advises on options, risk, Return on Investment (ROI), and impacts on business processes and future roadmap
? Researching and developing of new Salesforce Commerce Cloud functionality and capabilities through Proof of Capabilities and prototypes
Required Qualifications:
? Knowledge of IT process frameworks and best practices in a Dev Ops Model
? Minimum of 5 years of experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud configuration and development, implementing Commerce Store systems
? Previous B2B commerce experience
? Minimum of 7 years of experience in system design and software development life cycle
? Experience with Architectural Principles
? Experience successfully developing and executing Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) in an agile framework
? Excellent written & oral communication and collaboration
? Previous hands-on coding experience
Desired Qualifications:
? Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
? Salesforce certification(s): Administrator/Advanced Administrator | Platform App Builder | Sales & Service Cloud | Community Cloud | Application Architect | System Architect | Technical Architect
