Overview:

Our client is seeking a Tech Business Analyst with experience in the Pharma / Bio-Life Sciences Industry, strong technical background and AWS Cloud domain experience.
The Tech Business Analyst role is a Senior-level role that supports the software/hardware development of the business functions and technical enablers for value streams and products. Responsible for liaising between Business units and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the IT PMO & Technology teams.

Analyzes, interprets, defines, and documents detailed requirements and acceptance criteria for multiple projects.
 
The overall objective of this role is to support successful project delivery and contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.

Responsibilities:

• Experience with business analysis frequently produced documents and techniques:
• Process mapping, VOC, data analysis, user story generation, requirements gathering, wireframing, UAT, options analysis
• Skillful in gathering/analyzing requirements/features, and hands on experience in writing, presenting and creating high level designs, process flows, mapping current and future state process workflows, User interface (UI) requirements, UI analysis results, Data models and requirements.
• Experience developing basic logical data model diagrams
• Responsible for liaising between Business units and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the C&E IT PMO & Technology teams.
• Analyzes, interprets, defines, and documents detailed requirements and acceptance criteria for multiple projects. Leads and/or Supports Testing efforts through defect resolution and acts as the SME for all assigned project efforts.
• Experience with assessing data quality; identifying patterns, trends and issues in data sets.
• Strong ability to effectively communicate that benefit through qualitative success stories and quantitative value evidence + ad hoc.
• Leads and/or Supports Testing efforts through defect resolution and acts as the SME for all assigned project efforts.
• Responsible for storing project artifacts into the project SharePoint repository drafts thru post-execution.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required. Demonstrated experience is more important than specific degree field.
• 10+ years of experience in information technology (IT)
• 10+ years of experience as a technical business analyst with AWS domain experience and expertise in various technologies, business areas and end-to-end application analysis with some focus on business intelligence (reporting, metrics, analytics, dashboarding)
• Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical and/or Real-World Evidence (RWE) domains
• Proven ability to effectively collaborate with key business and technology stakeholders to deliver detailed requirements, initiate action and adapt to change
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Solid ability to prioritize analysis deliverables, and recommend alternative solutions when needed
• High level of technical fluency
• Exceptional critical-thinking skills; must be a self-starter
• Detail-oriented
• Manages complex issues and risks requiring evaluation of broad factors, exercises judgment within broadly defined practices.
