OVERVIEW:  
Our client, a Philadelphia Regional Bank, is seeking an Azure Infrastructure Admin for a HYBRID Direct Hire opportunity located in Horsham PA.

As an Azure Infrastructure Admin, you will participate in the development of strategies and execute implementation plans for Network infrastructure, security and Azure cloud- based storage solutions.


Responsibilities/Duties

• Develop strategic recommendations, strategies and plans for network infrastructure, security and Azure cloud based storage solutions
• Provide level II and III support for Network Administrators
• Develop and document network procedures and organization of the network.
• Responsible for configuration, upgrades of network hardware/software.
• Administration of internal bank applications, including, but not limited to, commercial and retail banking applications.
• Provide support for routine network administration and problem resolution. Possess good working knowledge of Microsoft and Linux NOS administration. Will follow established network security policies and procedures.
• Assist in evaluations and recommendations of network improvements and efficiency.
• Evaluate and recommend additional software or upgrades to existing software.
• Evolve, execute, and test a BC/DR strategy
• Maintain all original software and documentation according to current departmental policy.
• Participate in the development of user network and application software training.
• Responsible for moves, adds and changes of network PCs and peripherals.
• Maintain Virtual test lab for testing new deployments, upgrades and product enhancements.
• Encourage and cultivate ongoing user interest and support for the network and network policies.
• On Call rotation for off-hours support
• Perform other duties as directed by the Network Operations Manager.
• Assists in the development of new business for the organizaton. Is alert to expressed customer/prospect needs to suggest appropriate services.  Directs customers to appropriate person to open account.  Actively sells and promotes corporate products to potential and existing customers.  Possesses knowledge of corporate products and services, to suggest products.

Essential Functions
While performing the duties of this position, the employee will constantly be ascending and descending, moving about and lifting and raising objects.  Occasionally, this position requires the ability to exert up to 50 pounds in the course of a day.  This position will incur installing, operating and handling technical equipment such as personal computers, printers and servers on a daily basis.   The employee will exchange information and communicate instructions to others.  The employee will view and operate a computer terminal during sedentary work. 

Experience Required

• 3 years experience with Microsoft Windows server administration.
• 3 years experience with Azure Cloud with monitoring capabilities.
• Experience implementing and maintaining the following: Group Policy, Powershell, VMWare (including Horizon), SCCM, Enterprise Security Suites, SD-WAN and AD
• Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.
• Effective interpersonal communications skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a deadline oriented environment
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Drivers License/vehicle for office visits
• Intermediate proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite

Must HAVES:

• Must have Azure experience
• Experience with VMWare- doing lift and shift from VMware to Azure
• Experience with SQL Managed Instance
• Data Center Migration a plus
• Strong understanding of SD WAN
• Strong Group Policy experience
• Financial services industry experience preferred
