The role of Technical Documentation Support Specialist is a long term contract engagement with a duration of 1-2.
This is a HYBRID role- Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in Memphis, TN office headquarters. Mondays and Friday are work from home.
The Technical Documentation Support Specialist is responsible for assisting internal and external customers with technical problems or questions concerning all products. The Technical Documentation Support Specialist is the product and knowledge expert within the Consumer Electronics group for all product inquiries. Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, including supporting agents, of the Technical Assistance Center.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES
Responsible for communicating with and supporting the technical department at the BPO (TP)
Accountable for development of product training to enhance the knowledge and skill of TAC and CAC when needed.
Responsible for documentation of new and existing troubleshooting steps/techniques within the knowledge management system and company website when needed.
Works with TSS on training needs and product quality issues in TAC and CAC.
Responsible for routinely compiling product performance information into reports and providing feedback to management for review.
Responsible for assisting with product service evaluation and sample product testing.
Responsible for assisting with Incoming Inspection of new product.
Associates degree or three years related job experience.
Experience in service and support for commercial and consumer electronics.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience creating Technical Documentation
Experience writing technical manuals and step by step instructions
Nice to have- Experience creating How To Videos
Must have consumer electronic/large appliance knowledg
Requires ability to lift and carry electronic products, tools, service parts, office files and small office equipment up to 50 lbs.
