Lead .NET Software Engineer

Our client’s platform operated on a single technology stack allowing for the ability to scale globally.

This is a DIRECT HIRE Role! Our client is currently seeking an experienced .NET Software Engineering Manager who has great communication skills and leadership skills. This role requires about 60% hands on working in the code- mostly in the form of code reviews, but strong hands on development skills are required at times. 40% people management- day to day task delegation, code reviews and releases, performance reviews and hiring responsibilities.

Comfortable in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial team environment with the ability to make progress on goals and deadlines without micromanagement. This person will manage 2 Scrum Teams, each team will have 3-5 Engineers, 6-10 direct Engineers would report to this person.

Candidates MUST be commutable to Philadelphia HQ working onsite once a week. The office is easily commutable by car or train.

Required education/skills
    1. Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field required or equivalent experience
    2. 8+ years of relevant work experience and at least 2 years of proven leadership responsibility
    3. Ability to predict and manage (i.e.: make and meet commitments)
    4. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
    5. Ability to build and sustain trust through relationships with others
    6. Leadership in a team environment
    7. General knowledge of other related principles
    8. Demonstrate excellent judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
    9. Ability to think outside of the box
    10. Able to lead meetings, clearly communicate technical approach, status, assess risk and mitigate

MUST HAVES:
