Overview: Our client, a mortgage servicing company, is seeking an experienced Product Owner to join their growing team! This position is 100% REMOTE opportunity and is a long term contract role with an initial 6 month duration.
Summary: The Product Owner is responsible for the tactical implementation of the Sagent Suite Product strategy. Will work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Engineers and leadership to create user stories and prioritized backlogs that are value-add, metric driven and contribute to the success of the business. This role will foster effective cross-team collaboration, drive testing and enable efficient delivery of product enhancements using agile methodologies with the goal of improving the overall customer and team member experiences and efficiencies.
Our client is looking for a Product Owner with expertise in Loan Servicing, specifically the area of Default Loans which includes Bank buy outs, Claims, Foreclosures. For these types of loans, our client uses Sagent LoanServ. This Product Owner needs knowledge in the Sagent suite of products including LoanServ, Tempo, Care. The PO needs to be a go-getter, polished and ready to be camera on. They will primarily work with Directors, VPs, SVPs, and EVPs. The successful Product Owner will be confident in speaking up, suggesting ideas, implementing best practices. This person will help to define the product mapping, work to identify gaps and make recommendations around other tools that should be implemented.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or two (2) + years of additional Business Analysis, Product Owner, Programming, etc. Anything relevant in the Product or Tech space would offset the need for a Bachelor's
Two (2) to four (4) years related experience.
Five (5) + years of Business Analysis or Product Owner experience as an individual contributor, preferred
Previous experience with Sagent Product Suite including LoanServ, Tempo and Care
Experience with Loan Servicing, Defaults and Foreclosures
Previous experience in Mortgage Banking, Fintech and/or associated lines of business is highly, preferred.
