Overview:  
 Our healthcare client is looking for a Web Developer.  This is a 6-month long contract with the strong possibility to convert.

Responsibilities:
Systems Analysis and Design: Analyzing existing systems, understanding user requirements, and designing solutions that meet those requirements.
Programming: Writing code using ASP.NET, C#, and other relevant technologies to implement system designs.
Development and Maintenance: Developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications using MVC architecture, REST, SOAP, and other web services.
Database Management: Utilizing databases such as Oracle and SQL Server for data storage, retrieval, and manipulation.
Integration: Integrating various systems and components using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and other relevant tools.
Reporting: Developing and maintaining reports using SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).
Version Control and Collaboration: Using tools like Team Foundation Server (TFS) for version control, collaboration, and project management.
Performance Optimization: Identifying and addressing performance issues, ensuring scalability, and optimizing applications for better performance.

Design Patterns and Principles: Applying various design patterns and adhering to fundamental design principles to build scalable and maintainable applications.

Testing: Writing and executing test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of applications.
Security: Implementing security measures to protect applications from potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Analytical Skills: Using analytical skills to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
Qualifications

Three (3) or more years of experience in systems analysis, programming, and design

BA/BS in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent knowledge acquired by work experience and training.

Development skills in ASP.NET; C#; XML, MVC, REST, SOAP, Web services

Familiar with JavaScript, Java, Oracle, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Team Foundation Server.

Familiar with performance, scalability, security, and testing applications.

Familiar with various design and architectural patterns.

Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application

Understanding of Agile application development.
Self-starter with good analytical skills.

The ability to drive solutions to completion.

Written and oral communication skills.

Ability to contribute tasks in building technical project schedules.
