This is a DIRECT HIRE Role! Our client is currently seeking an experienced Product Manager aligned to their Payment Platform products.  The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial team environment with the ability to make progress on goals. Candidates must have experience managing teams.
In this role, you will be responsible for the overall success of our products, from conception through to launch and beyond. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of product development processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet the needs of our customers and drive business growth. 
This is 100% REMOTE role, with quarterly travel to Philadelphia, HQ.
Job Summary:?
This role will involve working closely with the AVP of Product to successfully lead and manage 6 Product Teams all supporting the Payment Platform products.
Primary Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to);
    1. Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on market research, customer feedback, and business goals.
    2. Collaborate with stakeholders, including executives, customers, and internal teams (such as engineering, design, marketing, and sales), to gather requirements and prioritize features and enhancements.
    3. Lead the product development process, including defining user stories, creating wireframes and prototypes, and working closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of features.
    4. Drive product launches, including developing go-to-market strategies, coordinating with marketing and sales teams to generate awareness and demand, and measuring the success of product releases.
    5. Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, customer feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and inform future product iterations.
    6. Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external stakeholders.
    7. Champion a customer-centric approach to product development, advocating for the needs and preferences of our target audience throughout the product lifecycle.
    8. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and maintain our competitive edge in the market. 
Required Experience and Skills
    1. Bachelor degree in Engineering or Business, or similar comparable industry experience.
    2. 8+ years in a Product Manager or related role
    3. Payment Gateway, Payment Transaction or Payment flow industry experience is a MUST
    4. Understanding of web development best practices and common frameworks
    5. Ability to collaborate with both internal teams and external partners as necessary to ensure that features are built to the highest level and remain a leading proposition against other competitor offerings.
    6.  4 or more years working experience within the financial industry, preferably within payments. Ideally you will have a good knowledge of the solutions generally available in the market and be able to understand and explain the various subjects.
    7. Experience of using tools such as Azure Dev Ops (ADO) for Feature and Story backlog management would be an advantage.
    8. Leadership: As an Agile Product Manager, you will need to provide leadership to the development team and stakeholders, motivating them to work towards a shared vision and goal. You should be able to inspire trust, collaborate effectively, and make tough decisions when necessary.
    9. Agile methodology: You should have a strong understanding of Agile methodology. You should be able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage the product backlog using Agile tools and techniques.
    10. Communication: As an Agile Product Manager, you will need excellent communication skills to convey the product vision, goals, and requirements to the development team and stakeholders. You should also be able to listen actively, provide feedback, and resolve conflicts effectively.
    11. Product management: You should have a deep understanding of product management principles, including market research, product strategy, roadmap development, and customer validation. You should also be able to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data to make informed decisions about product development.
    12. Technical knowledge: While you don't need to be an expert developer, you should have a basic understanding of software development principles and technologies. This will help you communicate effectively with the development team and make informed decisions about product development.
    13. Documentation and Writing: You will be required to support technical writers and BSA’s with reviewing and editing documentation that is consumable both internally and externally, that explains new features and functionality, sales, boarding, integration collateral.
    14. Analytical skills: You should have strong analytical skills to collect and analyze data, identify patterns, and make data-driven decisions about product development. You should also be able to track progress and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.
    15. Creativity: You should have a creative mindset and be able to think outside the box to come up with innovative solutions to problems. You should also be open to new ideas and feedback, and be willing to pivot the product strategy if necessary.
    16. Business acumen: You should have a good understanding of the business environment, including the competitive landscape, market trends, and customer needs. This will help you develop a product strategy that is aligned with the business goals and objectives
