Overview:
Our client is a seeking a Business Analyst.  The is 3-month long contract with the strong possibility to convert to a full time opportunity. 

 
  •  Collaborating with stakeholders including billing, finance, and client implementation to understand both short term and long-term goals.
  • Document functionality including complex logic for healthcare billing.  Curate documentation for consumption by various stakeholders including ORMB users, member and client support, development, QA, and management.
  • For BAU:
    • Address production issues.
    • Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of from implementation of new features to BAU.
    • Troubleshoot complex and detailed billing challenges in collaboration with teams across the IBX ecosystem.  Track urgent issues to closure, perform root cause analysis, and develop long term solutions.
  • For Projects:
    • Working with lead business analyst in creating a product road map.
    • Analyze preferences and requests of end users and various stakeholders who interact with ORMB
    • Participate in refinement sessions to ensure user stories/requirements all meet DoR (Definition of Ready).
    • Participate in sprint planning including setting sprint goals.
    • Participate in release and upgrade planning.
  • Participating in daily support meetings with stakeholders as well as project/BAU focused meetings with technical staff.
Skills and qualifications:
  • Work experience supporting and configuring Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) or similar billing systems.
  • Preferably development experience with Java based programming.  Groovy script preferred.
  • Ability to parse through many details to get to the root cause of complex challenges.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively especially for BAU tasks which are time sensitive.
  • Collaboration with multiple stakeholders including technical staff, ETL developers, operations, and billing.
  • Team spirit and good communication abilities .
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of product development architecture including ETL processes.
  • Proficiency in the use of analytic tools
  • Excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles.
  • Excellent oral and written communication.
  • Ability to work with large teams.
  • Understanding of design quality standards.
  • Creativity and adaptability.
