Overview: Our client, a specialty retail and ecommerce company, is seeking an experienced Ecommerce Digital Analyst to join their team. This is a DIRECT HIRE role. This position is a REMOTE role with occasional travel to Paoli, PA.
Job Summary: Reporting to the Sr. Product Strategist, the Digital Analyst is responsible for collecting, organizing, and processing data in a way that enables the software product team to make better and more informed decisions. This position will work in a dynamic, Agile team environment using behavioral data to surface insights about customers – automotive modding enthusiasts. Responsibilities:
Working with the research team to support ongoing programs of optimization and analyses, including a/b testing, and data tracking implementation. Reporting results changes made to our ecommerce sites every two weeks.
Facilitating optimization and analysis programs across multiple teams to define and launch initiatives, including creating simple, digestible slides to summarize results and present opportunities to improve.
Conducting research using Google Analytics and related tools to identify impacts and opportunities.
Working with the product and marketing teams to unpack the goals and hypotheses of a test or change into measurable KPIs, then develop specifications for the data required to report on these KPIs (tracking requirements, metric definitions).
Working with the data science teams to generate reports that enable useful analysis of impacts and opportunities.
Building reports from GA4 to answer business or product questions, support user research with audience sizing and insights, and support other GA4 users in the org using the platform for their own discovery.
Supporting ongoing data initiatives, such as our a/b testing programs, by coordinating and facilitating team collaboration across internal and external touchpoints.
Analyzing and presents findings and opportunities to the product team and stakeholders.
We can’t skip over some of the specific skills and experience we know are a “must” to be successful. So, we need you to have:
3-5 years of experience working with digital behavioral data and related processes / practices, ideally in an ecommerce environment
Experience collecting, mining, and manipulating data from disparate sources, with a willingness to analyze technical details and drivers as well as the user scenarios in play.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics, and related data analysis tools (e.g., lookerstudio)
Experience working with technical team(s) to identify tracking implications or changes required as a result of code changes.
Experience within an agile team environment and mindset preferred.
Aftermarket automotive interest / experience is a plus.
