EDI Analyst Direct Hire or CTH Options 5 days a week onsite until October then 3 days per week – Tues-Thurs – Philly, PA 19103
Overview:?? Our client, a Philadelphia based non-profit is seeking an EDI Analyst to join their team on a Direct Hire basis. This position is hybrid, requiring the individual to work onsite at the headquarters in Center City Philadelphia. This EDI Analyst should be well versed in Benefit Plans and Data Interfaced. Job Summary:?? ?The EDI Analyst is responsible for testing changes to benefit product interfaces with an electronic data interchange (EDI) including Highmark, Aetna, and VSP Vision Care. The EDI Analyst troubleshoots errors on outbound files and manages escalation issues accordingly. Responsibilities:
Provide electronic data interchange Tier 2 support to Plan Operations and resolve benefit product EDI interface and account structure errors.
Operationalize items related to benefit product EDI interfaces and coordinate the analysis and resolution of bugs between internal stakeholders, external benefits vendors, and the organizations IT Product Support.
Gain approval from internal business owner (Benefits, Operations, or IT) for EDI interface fixes and test solutions to confirm the resolution is acceptable and complete.
Coordinate external ACA year end reporting.
Coordinate EDI external reporting with the organization’s benefits vendors.
Work with TELUS Health and Wellness platform and internal business owners to document requirements derived from changes in Benefit products or new products added to an interface.
Required Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Minimum of 8 to 10 years of work experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience with Health and Wellness Benefits products and operations.
Strong capability to analyze and test data to troubleshoot data errors.
Experience and knowledge with ANSI 12X134 standards is required (except for an internal candidate)
Good capability to query and manipulate data with a variety of tools (SQL, Excel, Power BI, etc.)
Able to work with multiple stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization – internal and external – to collaborate to solve issues.
Good communication skills are a must – to document requirements, explain in writing (email) or on a call the data problems and the solutions, etc.
Attention to detail is a critical skill.
Able to work independently and be highly available and responsive to time sensitive deadlines
