Overview:
Our client, a IT Managed Services Provider and Technology Reseller, is seeking an experienced TalkDesk Developer to join their expanding Telephony team.

This position is a 6+ month contract opportunity with the opportunity of extension and possible conversion.

This position is 100% REMOTE, candidates must work EST hours.  

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled TalkDesk Developer with advanced expertise in the Talkdesk telephony platform. The ideal candidate will leverage robust software engineering skills to design, develop, test, and integrate custom solutions. You will be responsible for configuring platform features, integrating APIs, and delivering rapid solutions to meet high-demand customer requests. Your work will be critical in ensuring the telephony solutions are reliable, scalable, and efficient.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, configure, and customize solutions on the Talkdesk telephony platform.
  • Write functions to manage caller configurations and database interactions within the platform.
  • Implement advanced API integrations and develop custom integrations tailored to customer needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing of platform configurations to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Address high-demand customer requests with quick turnaround times, providing effective, solution-oriented development.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and customer support, to align telephony solutions with business requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement improvements based on prior experience and industry best practices.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Advanced proficiency and hands-on experience with the Talkdesk telephony platform.
  • Demonstrated software engineering or development experience specifically within the Talkdesk ecosystem.
  • Proven ability to write functions and scripts that configure caller or database information effectively.
  • Advanced skills in testing platform configurations to ensure robustness and performance.
  • Experience responding to high-demand customer scenarios with rapid, reliable development solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of JSON coding and scripting techniques.
  • Extensive experience with API integration and developing custom integrations for Talkdesk.
  • A solution-oriented approach, utilizing past experiences to address and resolve quick turnaround requests from customers.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Understanding of telecommunication industry standards and best practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on TalkDesk telephony platforms.
