  Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and manage key projects related to Store Operations and labor allocation at the store level. In this role, you will collaborate with a dynamic team of IT professionals and Store Operations experts to work on initiatives critical to the optimization of labor budgets, forecasting, and scenario planning. You will also work closely with the VP and Directors of IT and Store Operations as sponsors, and regularly present progress updates to the COO and CFO.  This role is a 100% remote.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage project initiatives focused on optimizing store operations and labor allocation using Anaplan and Zebra’s WorkCloud WFM solution.
  • Establish a secure data hub with scheduled integrations to streamline data processes and ensure accuracy in forecasting and budgeting.
  • Develop near-term and mid-term forecasts, ensuring alignment with store operations strategies.
  • Drive the creation of both top-down and bottom-up budgeting processes, allowing for accurate labor budget optimization.
  • Perform what-if scenario planning to assess the impact of different operational conditions and recommend improvements.
  • Regularly present project progress, key metrics, and strategic insights to senior leadership, including the COO and CFO.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Manage project scope, risks, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Projects and Initiatives:
  • Labor Optimization Strategy: Work on improving labor allocation at the store level through the implementation of Anaplan and integration with Zebra’s WorkCloud WFM solution.
  • Forecasting & Budgeting: Develop accurate, data-driven forecasts and budgets to support the business’s operational and financial goals.
  • Scenario Planning: Lead the creation of dynamic reports that support scenario planning and enable decision-makers to take informed actions.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Project Management Expertise: At least 8 years of experience managing complex IT projects, preferably within a retail or store operations context.
  • Must Have Technical Skills:
  • Experience with Anaplan, including its integration with other systems (specifically Zebra’s WorkCloud WFM solution).
  • Strong proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or similar).
  • Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
  • Communication Skills: Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to senior stakeholders, including the COO and CFO.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot project issues and adjust strategies accordingly to ensure project success. Daily Responsibilities:
    • Oversee and manage project tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
    • Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams (IT, Store Ops, VP, Directors).
    • Track project milestones and prepare reports for senior leadership.
    • Handle all project-related documentation and keep teams informed about progress, risks, and adjustments.
    Educational Requirements:
    Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Required)
