What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), including specialized plans for crisis events like pandemics and cyberattacks.

  • Conduct risk assessments and Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) to identify key business functions and determine recovery priorities.

  • Collaborate with business units and IT to create recovery strategies that align with best practices and regulatory requirements (e.g., FFIEC, ISO 22301).

  • Plan and run business continuity exercises (tabletop, functional, full-scale) and evaluate their effectiveness.

  • Facilitate company-wide continuity training and promote a culture of preparedness.

  • Monitor emerging threats (e.g., climate risks, geopolitical events) and adapt continuity strategies accordingly.

  • Support IT and infrastructure teams with technology recovery plans and testing.

  • Act as the lead coordinator during real-time continuity events, ensuring smooth response and communication.

  • Prepare documentation for audits and ensure compliance with industry standards.

  • Analyze exercise results and incident data to drive continuous improvement.

  • Help manage business continuity platforms and incident communication tools.


What You’ll Bring:

  • 3–5 years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, or related fields

  • Strong critical thinking and risk assessment skills

  • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities

  • Familiarity with regulatory standards (FFIEC, ISO 22301, etc.)

  • Experience with business continuity or risk management tools

  • Understanding of IT systems and infrastructure (a plus)

  • Financial services or credit union experience preferred
