What You’ll Do:
Lead the development and maintenance of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), including specialized plans for crisis events like pandemics and cyberattacks.
Conduct risk assessments and Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) to identify key business functions and determine recovery priorities.
Collaborate with business units and IT to create recovery strategies that align with best practices and regulatory requirements (e.g., FFIEC, ISO 22301).
Plan and run business continuity exercises (tabletop, functional, full-scale) and evaluate their effectiveness.
Facilitate company-wide continuity training and promote a culture of preparedness.
Monitor emerging threats (e.g., climate risks, geopolitical events) and adapt continuity strategies accordingly.
Support IT and infrastructure teams with technology recovery plans and testing.
Act as the lead coordinator during real-time continuity events, ensuring smooth response and communication.
Prepare documentation for audits and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Analyze exercise results and incident data to drive continuous improvement.
Help manage business continuity platforms and incident communication tools.
What You’ll Bring:
3–5 years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, or related fields
Strong critical thinking and risk assessment skills
Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
Familiarity with regulatory standards (FFIEC, ISO 22301, etc.)
Experience with business continuity or risk management tools
Understanding of IT systems and infrastructure (a plus)
Financial services or credit union experience preferred
