Job Title: Salesforce Architect
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Salesforce Architect to join our client and lead the design and strategy of advanced contact center technologies. This remote, contract-to-hire opportunity focuses on developing scalable, customer-centric solutions across Salesforce Service Cloud Voice, NICE CXone, Amazon Connect, and other telephony platforms. The ideal candidate will bring strong architectural leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a passion for driving innovation in digital customer engagement.
Work Schedule:
• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Key Responsibilities of the Salesforce Architect:
• Own the end-to-end architectural vision and roadmap for digital contact center technologies, including Salesforce Service Cloud Voice and multiple voice platforms
• Define and implement integration strategies, call flow architectures, and analytics capabilities across multi-channel environments
• Design scalable, high-performance service experiences with Workforce Management (WFM) tools for forecasting, scheduling, and real-time adherence
• Maintain and evolve business and technology capability catalogs, identifying key architecture gaps and building a strategic roadmap
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, offering architecture recommendations for investment planning and business transformation
• Lead governance processes by reviewing and approving solution designs, ensuring compliance with architecture standards
• Collaborate with delivery teams, business stakeholders, and other architects to execute cross-functional technology initiatives
• Monitor emerging trends in AI and contact center innovation, including virtual agents, sentiment analysis, and predictive routing
Qualifications and Skills for the Salesforce Architect:
• 5+ years of experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, including Service Cloud Voice and Omni-Channel
• 3+ years of experience with telephony platforms such as NICE CXone, Amazon Connect, or Genesys
• Strong background in WFM architecture and tools, including performance integration
• Experience creating and managing technology and business capability catalogs
• Advanced knowledge of APIs, real-time data integration, and cloud infrastructure
• Demonstrated success in leading delivery teams and guiding project execution from an architectural standpoint
• Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to engage executive and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
• Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, or Service Cloud Consultant
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, SAFe, Zachman)
• Understanding of compliance, data privacy, and security in regulated industries
• Experience with large-scale global Salesforce implementations
• Familiarity with contact center KPIs and reporting tools
