Reporting to the Recruiting Director, the Senior Technical Recruiter will play a key role in identifying, engaging, and hiring top-tier technical talent to support the company's growth and innovation goals. This individual will partner closely with hiring managers and cross-functional teams to understand staffing needs, develop sourcing strategies, and manage the full-cycle recruitment process for a variety of technical roles. You will be working in a lively, team environment that is collaborative, creative, hardworking, and client centric. Senior Technical Recruiter Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruitment for IT professionals, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placement of contract, contract to hire, and direct hire roles.
Source candidates through a variety of channels such as job boards, ATS, networking events, internet advertising, user groups, job fairs, and referrals.
Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate candidate interviews and client meetings.
Conduct phone and virtual interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit.
Identifying and presenting opportunities for each candidate based upon skill set, job requirements, geographic location, salary requirements, and overall qualifications.
Provide coaching and guidance to candidates on interview preparation and best practices.
Collaborate with Account Managers to understand client needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
Present qualified candidates to Account Managers and coordinate interview scheduling.
Facilitate background checks, testing, and other pre-employment screenings as requested by clients.
Serve as the liaison between candidates and clients during the interview, offer, and onboarding process, ensuring clear communication and a positive experience.
Extend and negotiate job offers on behalf of clients.
Generate leads through proactive outreach and industry research.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the ATS.
Represent the company at networking events, meetups, and career fairs.
Post and maintain job advertisements across multiple platforms.
Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and annual recruitment performance metrics.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required.
2–5 years of recruiting experience, ideally within a staffing or agency environment.
Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable engaging with candidates and clients at all levels of an organization.
Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.
Self-motivated, proactive, and team-oriented with leadership potential.
Physical Capabilities:
Must be able to independently lift approximately 10 – 15 pounds
Must be able to remain stationary at a desk for 50% of the time
Must be able to occasionally travel within other offices and possibly clients if needed
