Job Title: Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst
 

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst to join our client to support the migration of reporting systems and deliver high-quality business insights. This remote contract role requires candidates to be located within the Eastern Time Zone and will focus on creating scalable reporting processes, building new dashboards, and maintaining data integrity across multiple platforms. The analyst will collaborate with business teams to understand needs, design effective solutions, and ensure timely delivery of actionable data that drives decision-making.
 

Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
 

Key Responsibilities of the Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst:
• Develop, maintain, and optimize custom and ad hoc reports to meet evolving business requirements.
• Design repeatable reporting processes, including stored procedures and triggers, to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate needs into technical solutions.
• Prepare data sets, validate accuracy, and support the migration from Dundas BI to alternative visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Troubleshoot issues in existing reports and recommend enhancements to improve performance and usability.
 

Qualifications and Skills for the Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst:
• A degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–6 years of professional experience in business intelligence or reporting analysis.
• Proficiency in SQL within a data warehouse environment, including advanced stored procedures and triggers.
• Hands-on experience with Dundas BI preferred; experience with Tableau or Power BI is also highly valued.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and pivot priorities as business needs shift.
• Collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills for working across technical and non-technical teams.
