Job Title: Help Desk Analyst
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Help Desk Analyst to join our client to deliver frontline technical support and ensure smooth access to critical business applications. This contract role is based near Harrisburg, PA, with a hybrid schedule that blends onsite training with telework once proficiency is achieved. The analyst will provide responsive assistance to end users, resolve technical issues, and escalate more complex cases to higher-level support teams. This role plays an essential part in maintaining system accessibility and enabling employees to remain productive.
Work Schedule:
• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (candidate’s choice)
• Initial training onsite; hybrid schedule after ramp-up
Key Responsibilities of the Help Desk Analyst:
• Respond promptly to phone calls and emails from end users, documenting requests and issues in ServiceNow.
• Diagnose and resolve login, password, and application-related problems while escalating complex cases as needed.
• Perform routine hardware and software tasks, including system updates, repairs, and assisting senior staff with technical projects.
• Deliver reports and system data, ensuring accurate tracking and timely distribution through established procedures.
• Contribute to system upkeep and environment support, including cable management, equipment installation, and maintaining clean data center areas.
Qualifications and Skills for the Help Desk Analyst:
• At least 3 years of experience providing phone- and email-based help desk support.
• Demonstrated ability to escalate tickets accurately and assign incidents to the appropriate technical resources.
• Hands-on experience performing software installations, system updates, and minor computer repairs.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or a similar ticketing system.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively, follow established processes, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
