Job Title: Business Systems Analyst
 

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our client to support process improvement and technology initiatives within the financial services sector. This contract role is based offshore in India and requires alignment with local working hours. The analyst will play a critical role in bridging business needs with technical solutions, ensuring systems are optimized to meet operational and compliance goals. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, Agile-driven environment focused on delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities of the Business Systems Analyst:
• Partner with stakeholders to gather, define, and document business requirements, process flows, and system enhancements.
• Translate requirements into clear specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and wireframes to guide development and testing teams.
• Lead and participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure project success.
• Conduct manual and functional testing, including regression and end-to-end validation, to confirm system performance and compliance.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist with triaging production issues, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Recommend and implement improvements to business analysis and QA processes to drive efficiency and quality outcomes.
 

Qualifications and Skills for the Business Systems Analyst:
• Proven experience in business systems analysis, preferably within financial services or credit-related domains.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and demonstrated success working in cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on expertise with Azure DevOps or comparable tools for managing sprints, user stories, and testing.
• Ability to design, write, and execute comprehensive test cases to validate functionality and user experience.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills with the ability to present findings effectively.
