Job Title: Senior Salesforce Developer
 

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join our client to design, enhance, and maintain enterprise-level Salesforce solutions that drive operational efficiency and business growth. This role plays a key part in shaping the Salesforce ecosystem, supporting new implementations, and mentoring junior developers. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of Financial Services Cloud, integrations, and Salesforce best practices to build scalable and secure systems. This is a remote, direct-hire opportunity open to candidates based in Eastern or Central time zones, offering the chance to collaborate with both onshore and offshore development teams.
 

Work Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional availability during go-live and deployment cycles
 

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Salesforce Developer:
• Design, develop, and deploy customized Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Components, and other platform tools to support evolving business needs.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems through REST and SOAP APIs, collaborating closely with the Mulesoft integration team.
• Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, and external vendors to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure seamless execution.
• Lead code reviews, enforce development standards, and provide mentorship to junior developers to promote consistent coding and documentation practices.
• Participate in Agile sprints, contributing to system testing, user acceptance, and deployment planning to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Maintain and optimize the Financial Services Cloud environment, identifying opportunities to leverage unused modules and improve performance across teams.
 

Qualifications and Skills for the Senior Salesforce Developer:
• 5–8 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience with strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce Developer Toolkit.
• Expertise with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud; experience in credit union or banking environments preferred.
• Proficiency in integrating systems using REST/SOAP APIs and familiarity with Mulesoft or similar middleware tools.
• Demonstrated experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with both business and technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to mentor and guide less experienced developers.
• Salesforce Developer certifications (e.g., Platform Developer II, App Builder, or Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional) are highly preferred.
