Job Title: IT Systems Engineer (Level III)

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an IT Systems Engineer (Level III) to join our client to deliver high-level technical support and infrastructure solutions across a diverse portfolio of businesses. This role will serve as a trusted technology advisor, ensuring reliable performance, network stability, and secure environments for end users. The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional who enjoys solving complex IT challenges, implementing new technologies, and collaborating with clients to achieve their operational goals. Compensation:
$75,000 – $90,000 annually plus bonus

Work Schedule:
Normal business hours, Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities of the IT Systems Engineer (Level III):

• Deliver advanced on-site and remote IT support, troubleshooting system and network issues across multiple client environments.

• Implement, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, operating systems, and network hardware to ensure optimal performance and uptime.

• Manage and monitor infrastructure components, including LAN/WAN connectivity, firewalls, VPNs, and overall network security.

• Support Microsoft-based systems such as Active Directory, Exchange Server, Office 365, and Windows Server environments.

• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to plan and execute IT projects, system upgrades, and technology migrations efficiently.

• Provide expert-level technical guidance, documentation, and end-user training to promote best practices and technology adoption.

Qualifications and Skills for the IT Systems Engineer (Level III):

• Minimum of three years of experience in IT systems support, with strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.

• Technical certifications such as Network+, A+, or Microsoft credentials are preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree or completion of an accredited IT trade program is valued; equivalent hands-on experience is welcome.

• Prior experience in a Managed Services environment is highly desirable.

• Proficiency with Windows 10/11, Microsoft Server environments, Exchange, and network technologies (LAN/WAN/VPN).

• Familiarity with SonicWALL firewalls, virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V), and monitoring tools such as Datto or ConnectWise is a plus.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues to non-technical users and build positive client relationships.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license, personal vehicle for travel to client sites, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds when needed.
