Job Title: QE Engineer

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a QE Engineer to join our client to support the development and stability of their cloud-based application ecosystem. This role focuses on enhancing backend services, building scalable microservices, and ensuring strong performance across AWS environments. You will collaborate with engineering teams to deliver new features, strengthen infrastructure, and drive automation across the development lifecycle. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with modern cloud technologies and contributing to high-impact global systems.

Compensation:
$130,000 – $150,000 annually

Work Schedule:
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, remote with 1–2 onsite visits per year


Key Responsibilities of the QE Engineer:

Enhance cloud-based application architecture
Develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications and microservices using .NET technologies to support scalability and performance.

Lead AWS deployment and reliability efforts
Oversee deployment and lifecycle management of applications across AWS, ensuring strong availability, security, monitoring, and cost efficiency.

Strengthen continuous integration and DevOps maturity
Automate build, testing, and deployment processes while contributing to documentation, code reviews, and development best practices.

Collaborate to deliver new capabilities and system improvements
Work with cross-functional teams to introduce new features, troubleshoot issues, and support scaling initiatives across the platform.

Support front-end feature development
Create and refine user-facing components using React and TypeScript to support seamless and modern interface experiences.


Qualifications and Skills for the QE Engineer:

Experience working with .NET and .NET Core, including deploying cloud applications within AWS environments.

Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, cloud-native architecture, and AWS offerings such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, and VPC.

Hands-on experience using React, TypeScript, SQL Server, Postman, and SSMS for development and testing.

Knowledge of DevOps pipelines, automation tools, and containerization solutions like Docker or Kubernetes.

Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, global engineering environment.
