Job Title: Senior Snowflake Data Engineer

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Senior Snowflake Data Engineer to join our client and drive the development and optimization of cloud-based data solutions. In this role, you will design and implement scalable data pipelines, ensure efficient data processing, and collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver high-performance analytics solutions. This is a remote, contract opportunity offering the chance to work on cutting-edge data engineering projects in a dynamic environment.

Compensation:
$72.80 per hour

Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Snowflake Data Engineer:

• Design, develop, and optimize Snowflake-based data solutions for enterprise-scale analytics.
• Implement ELT patterns across raw, intermediate, and curated data layers to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Monitor and manage cost and performance of data warehouses, including sizing, caching, and clustering strategies.

Qualifications and Skills for the Senior Snowflake Data Engineer:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for scripting and data conversion.
• Expertise in code optimization and performance tuning for large-scale data systems.
• Experience with AWS for deployment and cloud integration.
• Familiarity with mortgage or real estate industry data.
• Knowledge of security and governance practices such as RBAC, masking, and row-level policies.
