Job Title: Information Security Analyst (GRC)
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an Information Security Analyst to join our client to support enterprise governance, risk, and compliance initiatives that strengthen organizational security posture. In this role, you will help shape cloud security policies, guide risk management processes, and contribute to secure technology operations across the business. You will play a key part in maturing security frameworks, improving incident response capabilities, and ensuring alignment with regulatory standards. This contract-to-hire position offers a blend of remote flexibility with occasional onsite collaboration in Philadelphia.
Compensation:
$68–$70/hour
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM EST
Remote/Hybrid (onsite up to 2x/month in Philadelphia, PA)
Key Responsibilities of the Information Security Analyst:
• Strengthen governance, risk, and compliance processes by evaluating controls, aligning with industry frameworks, and supporting audits and assessments.
• Partner with technical teams to define cloud security standards, support architecture decisions, and document requirements for enterprise projects.
• Contribute to incident response, business continuity efforts, and forensics/eDiscovery activities to ensure rapid, well-coordinated actions.
• Assist in implementing and optimizing risk management platforms, including ServiceNow IRM, to streamline reporting and tracking.
• Support ongoing security strategy, technology planning, and capital budgeting within information security teams.
Qualifications and Skills for the Information Security Analyst:
• 5+ years of relevant experience with at least 4 years focused on security, compliance, and risk management functions.
• Background in security engineering or architecture plus familiarity with application protocols, SDLC processes, and PMO methodologies.
• Experience developing cloud security policies and applying security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and HITRUST.
• Hands-on capabilities with ServiceNow IRM along with knowledge of AD, UNIX, networking, firewalls, and common security tools.
• A related bachelor’s degree is preferred; certifications like CISSP, CISM, Security+, or similar are a strong plus.
