Key Responsibilities of the Commercial Data Analyst:
- Deliver clear, actionable analyses that illuminate sales funnel health, pipeline movement, and territory performance to drive informed decision making across commercial teams.
- Manage end-to-end analytics tasks including data extraction, validation, modeling, and dashboard development using SQL, Snowflake, and BI visualization tools.
- Partner closely with regional leaders and field reps to translate ambiguous business questions into structured, meaningful analytical solutions.
- Ensure accurate handling of sensitive performance and revenue data by applying strong judgment, data governance practices, and healthcare compliance awareness.
- Support forecasting, incentive modeling, and commercial financial reviews to strengthen revenue planning and operational alignment.
Qualifications and Skills for the Commercial Data Analyst:
- Experience supporting commercial or sales analytics functions, including funnel analysis, activity insights, performance tracking, and forecasting.
- Background in the healthcare industry with familiarity around prescriber behavior, patient pathways, payor dynamics, compliance, and PHI/HIPAA standards.
- Proven ability to independently manage analytics workflows using SQL, Snowflake, ETL validation, and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage executives, influence sales teams, and translate analytic findings into business actions.
- Financial awareness relating to margin drivers, revenue movement, and sales incentive structures; exposure to CRM systems (Dynamics), territory design, or large distributed sales teams is a plus.
