Job Title: Lead IT Vendor Analyst
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Lead IT Vendor Analyst to join our client to support the financial governance, strategic planning, and operational effectiveness of their technology organization. This role plays a key part in overseeing vendor financials, guiding cost-efficient decision-making, and ensuring accurate budgeting and forecasting across IT programs. The Lead Analyst will partner closely with leadership to deliver high-quality reporting, streamline financial processes, and strengthen compliance across the IT portfolio. This position also provides an opportunity to mentor junior team members and influence continuous improvement initiatives within the organization. This is a remote, contract-to-hire role.
Compensation:
$45–$49/hr
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. EST

Key Responsibilities of the Lead IT Vendor Analyst:

  • Oversee day-to-day management of IT vendor financials, including contracts, SOW reviews, compliance monitoring, and reconciliation of spend.
  • Support monthly and quarterly financial cycles by preparing accruals, reclasses, variance analysis, and forecast updates for both OpEx and CapEx.
  • Guide capital planning efforts by researching funding needs, developing financial models, and providing recommendations to technology leaders.
  • Deliver clear, data driven reporting and insights to support executive decision making and maintain alignment with internal policies.
  • Mentor junior analysts and help enhance financial procedures, tools, and process efficiency across the IT organization.

Qualifications and Skills for the Lead IT Vendor Analyst:

  • Background in IT finance, vendor financial management, or technology budgeting, with strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Ability to interpret contracts, manage SOW financials, and ensure alignment with internal controls and compliance expectations.
  • Skilled in forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and working across both operating and capital expenditure planning.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills, with the ability to provide guidance to leadership and support junior team members.
  • Proficiency with financial systems, spreadsheets, and modeling tools; prior experience in a complex corporate IT environment is highly valued.
