Job Title: Sr. UI/UX Designer
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Sr. UI/UX Designer to join our client to help drive intuitive, visually cohesive, and mobile first design experiences across key digital products. This role plays a central part in shaping user journeys for fintech and mortgage focused applications, ensuring every interface is accessible, consistent, and aligned with modern design standards. Working under a design lead, this designer will contribute to high quality UI execution, iterative improvements, and seamless collaboration with product and development teams. This is a remote, contract based opportunity ideal for a creative professional passionate about delivering clean, user centered digital solutions.
Compensation:
$45/hr
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. ET
Key Responsibilities of the Sr. UI/UX Designer:
Support the creation of mobile first designs, user flows, and high fidelity UI assets across apps, websites, and other digital touchpoints.
Deliver polished prototypes and screen designs that translate product requirements into intuitive, visually consistent experiences.
Maintain and evolve shared design components and libraries to reinforce brand alignment and accessibility standards.
Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and fellow designers to ensure smooth handoffs and alignment with component based engineering practices.
Contribute ideas that improve usability, responsiveness, and overall design quality based on user and performance insights.
Qualifications and Skills for the Sr. UI/UX Designer:
Demonstrated experience applying UX/UI principles, mobile design patterns, and component driven design approaches.
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities in cross functional environments.
Proficiency in Figma, with familiarity in tools such as InVision, Jira, Confluence, and usability testing platforms.
Ability to work independently while taking direction and maintaining attention to detail in a fast-moving digital environment.
Understanding of accessibility best practices and how UX teams collaborate with React or React Native development teams; interest in AI supported design tools is a plus.
