Job Title: Service Desk Support Technician
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Service Desk Support Technician to join our client to support day to day technology operations and deliver a reliable, user focused IT experience. This role serves as a hands on point of contact for employees needing assistance with systems, devices, and access, while helping keep technology services running smoothly. The position is onsite in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania and is offered as a contract to hire opportunity. Success in this role comes from strong technical fundamentals, clear communication, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Compensation:
$23 to $25 per hour
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities of the Service Desk Support Technician:
- Deliver first and second level technical support for hardware, software, and access issues through phone, email, and a service desk platform
- Manage user accounts and permissions across Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange, VPN, and related systems
- Troubleshoot, image, deploy, and maintain laptops and peripherals while tracking assets and inventory
- Support onsite technology needs including conference room setups, audiovisual equipment, and new hire onboarding
- Maintain clear documentation, contribute to knowledge resources, and assist with IT projects, maintenance, and process improvements
Qualifications and Skills for the Service Desk Support Technician:
- Three to five years of hands on experience in a service desk or desktop support environment
- Strong working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11, Microsoft 365, Exchange, Active Directory, and common SaaS applications
- Experience with endpoint management tools such as SCCM, along with ticketing or ITSM platforms
- Excellent customer service, communication, and problem solving skills in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work onsite, support both local and remote users, and lift up to 50 pounds when handling equipment
