Key Responsibilities of the Senior Business Analyst:

  • Translate medical and claims payment policies into clear, enforceable business and system requirements across multiple control points, including claims processing and post-payment review
  • Analyze system capabilities and operational workflows to determine the most effective enforcement approach, including identifying scenarios requiring manual review
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to implement, validate, and optimize policy configurations in alignment with business and compliance needs
  • Conduct root cause analysis and lead resolution efforts for policy configuration issues, ensuring impacted claims are identified, corrected, and properly documented

Qualifications and Skills for the Senior Business Analyst:

  • A degree in business, healthcare, or a related field is preferred, though comparable hands-on experience is equally valued
  • Five or more years of experience supporting claims operations, policy enforcement, or business requirements within a healthcare or payer environment
  • Familiarity with medical coding concepts; professional certifications such as CCS, CPC, RHIA, or RHIT are a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to evaluate issue severity and recommend practical solutions
  • Proven ability to manage priorities independently, meet deadlines, and communicate expected timelines effectively
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with experience working across technical, operational, and compliance-focused teams
  • Working knowledge of end-to-end claims processes and comfort using standard business tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Teams

Why Join Us?
