Job Title: Applications Systems Analyst III
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an Applications Systems Analyst III to join our client to support the development and ongoing performance of enterprise application solutions that enable critical business operations. This role focuses on delivering high quality custom applications while serving as a technical leader across development and support initiatives. The position is based in Pittsburgh, PA, with an on site work arrangement to start and a hybrid schedule offered over time. This is a direct hire opportunity supporting long term system stability, scalability, and business continuity.
Compensation:
$130,000 annually
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities of the Applications Systems Analyst III:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain custom applications using approved technologies to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability
• Provide technical leadership by guiding developers, promoting coding standards, and supporting clean and maintainable solutions
• Partner with business users, IT teams, and external vendors to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and recommend system improvements
• Support application operations through monitoring, reporting, data loads, testing cycles, and production support activities
• Contribute to documentation, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity efforts to ensure system readiness

Qualifications and Skills for the Applications Systems Analyst III:

• A degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience is equally valued
• Extensive professional experience working with C#, .NET, and SQL in enterprise application environments
• Strong understanding of object oriented programming, MVC architecture, and API driven integrations
• Hands on experience with integration technologies such as REST, SOAP, OData, RFC, BAPI, or IDoc
• Exposure to cloud platforms, artificial intelligence, microservices, Java, or utility industry systems is a plus
