Job Title: AWS Bedrock Engineer
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an AWS Bedrock Engineer to join our client to support the development and deployment of generative AI solutions within a secure cloud environment. This role focuses on building production ready AI services that integrate foundation models into business applications. The engineer will collaborate closely with cloud, data, and application teams to deliver scalable and compliant solutions. This is a contract to hire opportunity based in Philadelphia, PA with a hybrid or onsite work arrangement.
Compensation:
$85 per hour
Work Schedule:
Normal business hours
Key Responsibilities of the AWS Bedrock Engineer:
• Design and deliver generative AI solutions using Amazon Bedrock that support real world business use cases
• Integrate and manage foundation models while applying effective prompt design, response handling, and guardrails
• Build and maintain retrieval augmented generation pipelines using vector databases and AWS services
• Develop and support AI driven services and REST based APIs using Python and AWS SDKs
• Ensure secure and reliable deployments through IAM controls, logging, monitoring, and compliance practices
Qualifications and Skills for the AWS Bedrock Engineer:
• Three or more years of experience in software engineering or AI and ML focused roles
• Hands on experience working with AWS core services in development or production environments
• Direct experience using Amazon Bedrock to build or deploy generative AI solutions
• Strong Python skills with experience delivering AI, ML, or GenAI workloads into production
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, cloud native architectures, security fundamentals, and the ability to work onsite or hybrid in the Philadelphia area
