Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer to join our client to support the build, automation, and reliability of cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines. This role focuses on enabling stable, secure, and scalable AWS environments that support ongoing application development and deployment efforts. The position partners closely with engineering teams to streamline releases, improve system performance, and strengthen operational practices. This is a contract to hire opportunity based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with a hybrid or onsite work arrangement.
Compensation:
$75 to $85 per hour
Work Schedule:

Key Responsibilities of the AWS DevOps Engineer:
- Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure using infrastructure as code to ensure consistency, scalability, and reliability across environments
- Build, manage, and support CI and CD pipelines that improve deployment efficiency and reduce release risk for application and platform teams
- Automate provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes to support repeatable and secure environments
- Monitor system performance, availability, and cost while implementing best practices for optimization and operational stability
- Partner with engineering and platform teams to troubleshoot infrastructure issues and improve overall system reliability
- Three or more years of hands on experience in DevOps or cloud engineering roles supporting production environments
- Strong experience working with core AWS services across compute, networking, storage, and monitoring
- Proven experience using infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent technologies
- CI and CD experience with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps, along with scripting in Python, Bash, or similar languages
- Experience supporting Linux based environments and ability to work onsite or hybrid in the Philadelphia area
