Job Title: Research Scientist
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Research Scientist to join our client to support the design and advancement of intelligent voice based technologies. This role focuses on developing and refining machine learning solutions that improve speaker recognition and verification capabilities in real world environments. The position offers hands on research exposure while contributing directly to production level systems. This is a hybrid contract to hire opportunity based in Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania.
Compensation:
$57 per hour
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST
Hybrid schedule with three days onsite per week based on team needs
Key Responsibilities of the Research Scientist:

• Design and enhance multimodal machine learning and deep learning models focused on speaker identification and verification outcomes
• Conduct applied research and algorithm development to improve existing production models and experimental solutions
• Train and evaluate models using large scale datasets, including contributing to data preparation and annotation efforts
• Measure model accuracy, robustness, and generalization through benchmarking and performance analysis
• Partner with engineering and cross functional teams to translate research findings into scalable and efficient implementations

Qualifications and Skills for the Research Scientist:

• Master’s or PhD in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related technical discipline
• Three to five years of hands on experience in machine learning and deep learning model development
• Strong proficiency in Python with practical experience using PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Demonstrated background working with multimodal models, speech processing, or speaker verification systems
• United States citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
